UC Santa Barbara's Blum Center for Global Poverty Alleviation and Sustainable Development will kickoff the academic year with a talk by Robert Reich, former U.S. secretary of labor and currently the Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at UC Berkeley, "How Did We Get Into This Mess?: Reclaiming Our Economy and Our Democracy," on Thursday, November 2, in Campbell Hall.
